Unforgettable Liguria

Not so long ago I and my friend decided to go somewhere on holidays. I don't know why but we chose the region of Liguria, Italy. And we were not mistaken in our choice. We went to the ancient city Albenga there. I should say that this city is a real treasure house for tourists. There we saw many sights, like Piazza San Michele (the city centre) and Palazzo Peloso Cepolla. I was impressed with the architecture and the beauty of the building. There are also several museums in Albenga. We visited the Maritime Museum where we saw many interesting things connected with the sea. Except for the sights in Albenga, every day we went to the beach where we tried to spent our every morning and evening. The sea was light blue, warm and very clean. Every evening, after the beach, we went to one of the local cafes. We were reluctant to cook something, that's why we preferred to dine out. I should say that we spent 10 unforgettable days in Liguria. I didn't want to back home and I decided that I should come on holidays to Liguria some day again.

Visit to Pribram, Czech Republic

I didn't know where to go on holidays until a good friend of mine advised me to go to Czech Republic. She told me that the town of Pribram is especially worth a visit. Besides, she assured that was easy to find a holiday apartment in Czechia to rent. So, I decided to follow her advice and visited Pribram. I liked the town very much. It was about 800 years old and it was the first city that had the first deepest mine in the world. I also visited such places like St. James's gothic church and Svatá Hora. They both were built in the 13th century. I couldn't miss my chance to visit the Mining museum located here. It was considered to be one of the largest museums in Europe. But on the whole, the city was very cozy and homelike. I rented a nice apartment not far from the Litavka river on which the city was situated. I liked to walk along its bank in the evenings enjoying the wonderful Czech sunsets.

How not to be Cheated on while Booking the Accommodation

Do you believe that the right accommodation can have a great influence on your vacation? I do. I usually search for the accommodation on-line and now I know what to do if I don’t want to be cheated on. But I want to share my first experience with you. It was my first time I was looking for the accommodation on the internet, and… of course, I was cheated. That time I was going to Bulgaria and I had very little money, so I decided to save them on the accommodation. I found the cheapest apartment I could and then mailed to the landlord. Very soon I got the response with the pictures of the apartment I wanted to rent. Besides, the landlord also wrote that if I wanted to stay in it, I should send the money to him immediately. So did I! After that I didn’t hear from him any more. In a week I understood that I lost my money and I was cheated. I understood my fault but I decided not to give up. I wanted to go somewhere but this time I decided to be more cautious. First of all, I found some information how to find the right accommodation on-line. Very soon I found the place where I could stay in Bulgaria. I called the landlord and we discussed all the conditions with her. When I came to that apartment, I fell in love with it at a first sight. I also understood one thing – you should never be in a hurry while searching for the accommodation. Besides, ask the landlord to provide you with the permanent phone number and try to check if it is real through the internet. Besides, never send money in advance, otherwise you can be cheated on.

Ski Vacation

For ski travelling, not only the pistes and snowy weather are important but as well restaurants, nightlife, shopping, aprčs-ski, nightlife and the activities available besides skiing and snowboarding. Alpine skiing (or downhill skiing) is a recreational activity and sport involving sliding down snow-covered hills with long, thin skis attached to each foot. Self catering vacation rentals is an extremely popular choice with people booking ski vacations as they provide an ideal home-from-home base from where other elements of a vacation can be enjoyed, as well as spending time on the ski slopes. The mountain landscapes of any ski resort are breathtaking, and the surrounding countryside can provide sight-seeing opportunities as well as locations from where the all important apres-ski can be fully exploited. Self catering farmhouses, apartments and chalets can be easily found within convenient proximity to many of the world's best ski resorts, some of which have extremely luxurious facilities like private pools, but there are ample ski holiday homes to suit any budget requirement. Ski travelling can be done in virtually all the mountainous regions that are scattered across the globe, with resorts to be found to suit all vacation requirements; from short winter breaks in France to longer family skiing trips to Canada. The Alps provide first class facilities in hundreds of locations across Europe with excellent self catering accommodation and vacation rentals available for booking close to the ski resorts. In France, Chamonix provides the spectacular Alpine backdrop of Mont Blanc for a holiday ski chalet on the highest peak in the Alps. Courcheval is a cosmopolitan paradise where excellent skiing can be enjoyed at a resort that boasts one of the world's largest armies of ski instructors, as well as some fine designer shops.
